Play. Develop. Grow.
Community Rugby Trust
Strathmore Community Rugby Trust was established on 1 June 2017. We are a charitable organisation (Scottish Charity Number SC047475) which believes rugby has the power to enhance people’s lives. We aim to instil the rugby ethos into participants, coaches and volunteers of all ages so that they can develop and enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of rugby, play an active part in their local community and have a lifelong involvement in rugby.
We aim to operate sustainable programmes centred on our values of rugby, health and community.
We operate in the Strathmore Valley, a wide valley on the east coast of Scotland which extends from Perth in the south-west to Stonehaven in the north-east. The Trust is dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone in the Strathmore Valley, but specifically Forfar, Kirriemuir and Brechin, to participate in rugby regardless of their previous experience and ability. In doing so we aim to improve our participants’ physical and mental health, wellbeing and promote a sense of community and belonging.
