Laura Winter, Grant Funding Officer

Laura started with the Trust in August 2024. Since graduating with a BA Community Education in 2012 she has worked for several charities and local authorities supporting a wide range of community members. Prior to starting at the Trust, she was a Trustee of a local charity, with lead responsibility for funding. Her eyes have been opened to the doors that can be opened for people by engaging in sport and exercise. She uses her knowledge around community development to ensure that we explain to funders the wider impact that participation in rugby has for our participants.

Laura has recently become a member of the  Chartered Institute of Fundraising (CIOF).  She is currently studying towards a Certificate in Fundraising with them to increase her skills across fundraising agendas.
